A Message from the President
On behalf of the St. Mary’s Chapter of Delicados, Incorporated, I welcome you to our official website. The purpose of Delicados, Incorporated is to promote unity and friendship among the chapters and to engage in civic, cultural and social activities in the world community. Our organization was organized in June 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia and the St. Mary’s chapter was inducted in November 1994. It has been a great pleasure to be a member of this wonderful organization for over 16 years and we have been continuously involved in implementing meaningful programs that truly make an impact in St. Mary’s County. Our Mission
Throughout the years, Delicados Incorporated has prided itself in giving back to the community and is dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. We strive to create positive change in our community through national and local chapter programs. We support many national organizations including The United Negro College Fund, American Red Cross, National Council of Negro Women, Sickle Cell Anemia, HIV/AIDS and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The organization continues to grow and is dedicated to the motto of “striving not to equal, but to excel.”
